Send in the debt squad
Markets are charming places, especially when they deal in health and illness. We are amazed to report that not all private doctors win the trust and confidence of their patients. Indeed, some ungrateful people even fail to pay their splendid specialists, creating an opportunity for companies like P & J Consumer Debt services to offer a ‘simple, discrete, inexpensive and tailor-made’ service to the medical profession.
Ms D, practice manager, London SE1, effuses from the P & J promotional letter: ‘I think your service is excellent. I wish I had heard of you years ago!’ And so she should, since P & J have ‘years of experience in the collection of accounts for surgeons and physicians, private clinics and hospitals’ from ‘private individuals, companies and even embassies’ on a ‘no recovery, no fee’ basis.
Perhaps ‘no recovery, no fee’ explains it all. Is it why patients have become bad debtors in the first place? Let the seller beware!
